I'm back!! After quite a while of not being here (2 small children were taking
my time up + making lots of cakes and cupcakes).
Where to begin? Well in the
last 12 months I've strengthened Daisy Hill Cakes Bolton by teaming up with two
more fabulous local business. I now provide Birthday cakes for Pharaohs play
centre in Adlington. I also am bringing 'cake smash' to Finesse Photography
based in Bolton, it's all very exciting!
I've attended a few more cake
decorating classes to hone my skills and enable me to produce better cakes for
everyone :)
And last autumn I went to the international cake show at the NEC
Birmingham (I was thoroughly blow away and inspired) there were so many
brilliant cakes there. The battery on my camera nearly wore out from all the
pictures it took, lol.
This year 2013 is looking to be a good year for Daisy
Hill Cakes Bolton, I'm hoping we will grow from strength to strength! I'm
forward planning and looking at doing some Summer Fetes in our little area of
Bolton and possibly doing some autumn wedding shows, so best get some display
cakes planned!!
I need to organise an advertising campaign too! Think I will
stick to local advertising though. (NO, please do call me and tell me how good
you are at promoting my business to southern England, America, Europe or
anywhere else for that matter!! I may have received a FEW phone calls from
advertising agents recently!!:/ )
I am slowly getting to grips with all this
social media stuff and how Google works and how to get ranked higher (thanks to
my very frustrated IT advisor!!) and as for tweeting well I can do it although I
don't get all this # stuff ;)
My aim is to try and keep up with my Blog as
apparently this also helps with my google status? Not to mention it lets all
those lovely people out there know how I'm doing :)
So hope it won't be
another 12 months!! Bye bye for now
